Who We Are and What We Do

Scottish Greyhound Sanctuary (SGS) is an independent charity with no ties to, or funding from, the racing industry Established in 2008, SGS is devoted to rescuing and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers in need. SGS is run entirely by volunteers, with all funds raised going towards the food, medical fees and boarding of all dogs under our care.

Along with a wonderful online community and many volunteers, the SGS Team is passionate about the welfare of greyhounds and lurchers, and is committed to raising awareness of the plight of these beautiful dogs.
