Who We Are and What We Do
The Scottish Greyhound Sanctuary (SGS) was established in 2008 as an independent charity with no ties to the racing industry. SGS is run by a team of volunteers, all of whom have jobs, families, their own dogs... but who are devoted to rescuing and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers in need.
SGS doesn't get any funding from the government or the racing industry. We rely solely on donations, grants and the fundraising efforts of our supporters and volunteers.
If you'd like to find out more about SGS please have a look at our most recent Trustees Annual Report
