Jordan
01/05/2021
Date of Birth:
Breed:
Greyhound
Male
Sex:
Jordan has just been welcomed to a foster home, where he is being assessed. What follows is what we know about him form kennel. We will update this description soon. What we know so far is that Jordan is just a gigantic cuddle bug. He loves cuddles and human company more than toys (which he likes) and probably also a tiny bit more than food (which means something, as he is a foodie!). He thrives on human attention, so he would love to be chosen by a family who will help him build up his time alone. Walks well on lead and takes treats gently. Most importantly, he is all ready to be adopted by someone who will see how adorable he is! Jordan might also like to live with another dog, but this is not necessarily needed. He is a tall, lean lad, who can jump up very high, so he will need a secure garden.

Sally
10/04/2022
Date of Birth:
Breed:
Greyhound
Female
Sex:
Sally has just been welcomed to a lovely foster home. We will update her profile as soon as we comeplete her assessment in foster. So far, here is what we know from kennel. Sally is a small girl, very happy, friendly and affectionate. She run 12 races before retiring and, if you ask her, retirement really suits her. She is very good natured, very affectionate and so far she seems to not be bothered by other dogs.

Simba
26/11/2022
Date of Birth:
Breed:
Greyhound
Male
Sex:
Simba is a beautiful little hound, a rare silver brindle. He has just been welcomed to a lovely foster home, where he is enjoying life with his foster brothers and sisters. He is happy at heart, waggly and inquisitive . He is described as an adorable pooch, who loves to gently play with his soft toys, sniffing new smells, making a nest with his blankets or bedding. He is extremely polite. Michelle at the kennels has worked on building up his confidence and we are happy to report that this little pooch has made quite some progress. If approached gently, he does warm up to new people. He just does not like to be petted too much - at least not straight away - and he will need a family who can respect his boundaries and give him time to come to you rather than the other way around. He is being toilet trained at the moment. He will thrive in a calm, quiet environment, possibly in a rural home away from the hustle and bustle. Simba will need understanding owners who will help him to get to know the world at his own pace and help him build the confidence to show his cheeky side - side which is definitely coming out now that he is in foster :) He might also benefit from having the right canine companion. All this little hound is looking for is a quiet life and lots of love.
