Kennel Hounds

Noelle is a 6 years old beautiful lady. She is absolutely adorable, lovely with people and very sweet and affectionate. Loves to play with her toys and you are guaranteed she will never say no to a tasty treat :) Noelle has been so far overlooked and waited in kennel for so long - and we really don't know why, as she has an amazing personality, cuddly and playful. She will need to be rehomed as an only dog as she really thrives in human company.

Flower is a young, stunningly beautiful big girl, cheeky and full of energy and with a keen prey drive. She comes from Ireland, where she was used for coursing. She is an absolute foodie and gets along with people and medium or large size dogs. Flower has a mild skin condition, which at the moment does not require any ongoing management, as it does not cause her any problems. The only effect it has had so far is to make her fur a little unruly. She will make a wonderful pet when the right family comes along!

Simba is a beautiful little hound, a rare silver brindle. He is happy at heart and inquisitive. He is described as an adorable pooch, who loves to gently play with his soft toys, sniffing new smells, making a nest with his blankets or bedding. He is extremely polite and well behaved but can be a little shy and anxious sometimes. He will thrive in a calm, quiet environment, possibly a rural home away from the hustle and bustle. Simba will need experienced owners who will help him to get to know the world at his own pace and help him build the confidence to show his cheeky side. He might also benefit from having the right canine companion. Does not like people going above his head and grabbing his collar. All this little hound is looking for is a quiet life and lots of love. Could you be his ideal foster or forever home?

Norman is a bouncy lad, good with people and very good natured. He comes from a disqualified trainer, so he has not had the best start. Despite that, he is such a joyful lad and we have no doubt he will turn into a gentleman if someone takes a little time to show him the ropes and some kindness. And in fact he has already made so much progress! For example, when he came into our care his leash manners were...well in need of being polished :) But in a short amount of time he has improved so much. He still jumps up to say hello, as he so likes the company of people! He is lovely to be around and a foodie - I mean...a real foodie :) Likes walking and so he will need a slightly more active family. For example he would work very well fore someone who needs company during their daily walking routine :) He also gets on with all his kennel friends. Such a great lad, who has so much to give!

Mannie has recently come into SGS care and is beginning to settle into the kennel routine. He raced 98 times, and we’re pleased he’s now in the safe hands of Michelle at the kennels, all ready for his rehoming journey! Mannie is a big brindle lad, tall and slim. So far has been a lovely addition to the kennel pack. He is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. He is a very polite pooch, who takes treats very gently and will make an amazing companion once he gets to know you. Not so gentle with cats though, and we would not bet on his reaction to small furry dogs either :) We will update his profile as soon as we know more about him so...stay tuned!

This gorgeous 2 years old girl recently arrived at the SGS kennels and already she’s proving herself to be an absolute delight! Ana is a super friendly pup who loves her food, walks well on the lead and has been clean in her kennel. She is a delight all round! Her kennel mum describes her as being "soft as anything" :) Ana would very much like to be fostered/rehomed to a family who already have another dog. In kennels she has been getting along with Ivor in particular. Now that Ivor has found his forever home Ana is walking with many different dogs and getting along with all of them. One of her faviourites is Simba, who is also a softy :)

Jordan is a beautiful large hound who recently arrived at the kennels. He has now adjusted to his surroundings and is starting to show his lovely personality. He is very sweet, will always follow his kennel mum Michelle around the paddock. Walks well on lead and takes treats so gently. Most importantly, he is all ready to be fostered or adopted by someone who will see how adorable he is! He would love to be chosen by a family who will help him build up his time alone. Jordan might also like to live with another dog, but this is not necessarily needed.

Daphne is a beautiful 2 years old greyhound, who has joined our kennels only a few days ago, so we are still learning about her. She is an ex-racing greyhound, but thankfully she only run 13 times as she was not as fast as others. We however suspect that she would be very fast at finding her spot on a couch :) Her kennel mum said that Daphne has been such a joy to spend time with, very well behaved and clean in kennels. We will update this page as soon as we know more about her.

Fudge is a beautiful four years old girl, who arrived at our kennels together with Faith a few days ago. She is a medium size dog and she is already spayed, so she is all ready to be fostered or adopted straight away. She loves food and eats well, walks well on lead and so far she is getting along with all her kennel mates. She trusts people and likes to be handled gently. We will update her profile once we know more about this adorable pooch!

Faith is a lovely 4 years old black and white greyhound, another very recent addition to the SGS kennel bunch. Her kennel mum has already taken care of getting her spayed, and reported that Faith is recovering well. She will be ready to be fostered or adopted from the beginning of December. She is so well behaved and lovely that also the vet loved her! She loves people and her food, and walks really great on lead. As for Daphne and Fudge, we will update her profile as soon as we know more about her.
